Ahoy!
My name is Lance Fensterman, Show Manager of C2E2: The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Thank you for making history with us at the inaugural Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, April 16-18 Lakeside at McCormick Place. We look forward to bringing this new and exciting event to life with you.
Our New York Comic Con (NYCC) began five years ago and has quickly become the second largest popular culture gathering in America, and it's because of the faith, desire, and need from our exhibitors that we're now here – in downtown Chicago.
You're the backbone of NYCC and now C2E2, and as you know it's the show floor that truly makes our events shine. Thank you for participating. Thank you for getting onboard C2E2 on the ground floor. We're the New York Comic Con guys, but C2E2 isn't NYCC. Instead, taking the best of our New York show and infusing it with a Chicago flavor, C2E2 is a wholly new creation. It's something we're all defining and creating together.
We're making history, and I couldn't be happier having you making history with us.
We have prepared this Exhibitor Services Manual in anticipation of your needs for the upcoming show. This manual covers important topics including getting your booth to and from the McCormick Place, when and how to order your services, and some basic guidelines for the show. Please reference the A to Z Guide (found under General Show Information) to help find answers to the most frequently asked questions and remember to review the Table of Contents page thoroughly, as both of these contain valuable information and help you find the answers to your questions.
Keep in mind that placing your orders early will save you time and money. Order your Utilities as early as possible, as they are installed at certain times during set-up and orders placed on-site often need to be processed and fulfilled during off-hours which may prolong your set-up and result in overtime charges. It's not an exciting read, but it is an essential read, and – as a great American once said – "knowing is half the battle".
